my car broke down in the middle of my bus strike...
When I say my car I mean of course the car my boyfriend technically owns but doesn't get to use because of his bitch of a girlfriend (that would be me)...
I guess the bus strike needs a bit of a clarification as well. It's not just about dislike although it mostly is because the bus system in Reykjavik sucks, it's also about car sickness. I've got it big time, every time I ride the bus I get really sick and nauseous. So untill either they figure out a way to NOT blow half of the exhaustion fumes into the bus, come up with a pill for carsickness and distribute it free of charge to busgoers or build a metro/subway/underground system in the city of Reykjavik I will not use public transportations.
So now I'm lying on my couch not studying and I can blame it all on the car breaking down and bus strike. Both of which are entirely understandable and/or out of my control.
See I'm supposed to be studying mad.. I have an exam on monday and my notes are on the computer. Reading of a computer screan is very exhausting and I don't have a printer at home, therefor I really need to get to school and print out my notes but since of the formentioned strike and cartrouble I would have to walk. It's really cold outside and it would take me an hour to walk there - that's if I powerwalk my ass off.
You know what really bugs me - I've been up since 9 this morning, I haven't studied at all and that's the best excuse I can come up with - maybe I'm just not cut out for this lawierthingy...
as an update on me since I haven't been around forever...
So far this year I've bought a computer, went to Brussel with my EU law class and almost died of boredome a few hundred times... They still don't know what's wrong with my sister and they're not going to operate till they have at least a small clue what could be the problem - and who said doctors sucked?!?
